I launched Before It’s Built out of a realisation that many homeowners feel completely overwhelmed during the most expensive decision of their lives. After spending five years transforming unloved properties, I learned the hard way that every choice, from the brick color to the roof pitch, needs to be tested against the market and the camera lens. I found myself obsessing over what photographs well and what holds long-term value, rather than just what looks good on a small sample swatch.

The idea came about when a friend was building his first home. He was overwhelmed, paralysed by a mountain of selections and a builder’s elevation drawing that didn’t show him the reality of his choices. Once I produced a photorealistic render for him, the stress vanished. He could finally see it, change the details he didn’t love, and proceed with complete confidence. That certainty is what I want for every client.

With a qualification in Interior Design and Decoration through Ulleo / IDAA, I combine aesthetic expertise with a practical understanding of the construction process. I understand that you only get to make these big decisions once. My mission is to ensure that when your home is finally built, it’s exactly what you envisioned.
